Property and Architectural Design
School Support Ltd provides property services to over 450 schools. We have over 20 years' experience in working with schools and the Ministry of Education.
Five Year Agreements (for capital works administration)
This involves completing a 10 year property plan and overseeing capital projects for a period of 5 years.
Our property teams (in 5 centres) have extensive knowledge and skills in project management including, though not limited to the following:
- Necessary building legislation
- Ministry Design and Property Management Guidelines
- Contract administration
- Keeping projects on track and within budget
- Managing risk
- Looking for cost savings where possible
- Manage the day-to-day process on behalf of the Board of Trustees
- Advising the Board of Trustees in all aspects of project management
- Preparation of 10 Year Property Plans.
In addition to Five Year Agreements, we offer a full property services. For a monthly fee we provide the following:
- Regular visits to your school, where we are available for general or specific advice
- Provide regular 10 year maintenance and capital programmes
- We implement the agreed upon plan each year. Your board makes the decisions. School Support Ltd provides the expertise specifications and obtains quotes
- We ensure the job is completed satisfactorily within specific time-frames
- General and specific advice (pools, boilers, grounds etc.)
